Make it Monday 228

 This card is for the Make it Monday Challenge. I didn't follow the challenge perfectly because I don't know how to emboss with a folder and leave a portion not embossed, meaning I couldn't do the stenciling. I was able to do the embossing powder, the shading, and the pearl blending. I had fun with this challenge and I like how the pearl powder made the clear emboss stand out.

PTI Create along with us challenge

I  decide to play along with the PTI create along with us challenge this week and I was inspired by Nicole, I decided to make a generic card with my ONE PTI stamp ( I am still hoping someone will feel sorry for me and one day I will win a gift card to buy more stamps :). I think I  do pretty well for having only having a cricut and one stamp ;)

PTI saf 2015 unconventional material

I made this card for the unconventional materials challenge, saf 2015. I think my husband uses these red clips for brewing, I am not really sure, but they looked like robot hands to me. I cricut cut the robot and folded the arms so they pop out with the added robot hands. The robot could even hold something in its hands, I think a rolled bill would fit perfectly!

tri challenge

I am entering this card into three challenges, CAS(E) this Sketch, ColourQ and Cas-ual fridays! I can't believe I was able to do three challenges, I have NEVER done that before. It is normally to hard enough to do one challenge, but this time it just came together.  I really like this card, I need to learn to use the KISS method more (keep it simple sister!). I normally mess it up when I try to add more ;)

Colour Q challenge

I made this card for the colourQ challenge. It is may first time competing in a challenge on this blog. It was a lot of fun and I hope to compete again soon!

runway inspired challenge

I made this card for the runway inspired challenge. I had a failed attempt at a water color background on white card stock using Tim Holtz distressed ink in my original planned card, maybe I need to get water color paper. I went a completely different direction after. I used tissue paper instead for the color window inspired by the colors of the dress and I used a Martha Stewart punch to make the black overlay inspired by the print of the dress. I cricut cut the happy birthday and glossy accented it. I got a cuttle bug and so I have gone a little embossing crazy. I wish i didn't add the embossing but I wanted to see what  would happen if you embossed on tissue paper and it worked!

I have been busy this week. I made four cards!! This card I made for the make it Monday #218 watercolors with die cut stencils. It was so much fun to make.

I made this card for the make it monday challenge #217. I used a good luck stamp to create the border of this house warming card. This isn't my favorite card but I had fun making it!

It has been awhile, but I am back! I made this card for the make it Monday 216 adding color to cover plates. I used water color pencils, which I don't recommend.  I wanted brighter color and it also looks a little grainy. But I made it work.
