Cas-ual Friday's is red, white. blue! I used Waffleflower stamps for the sentiment(s). The #BE YOU is white embossed on top of ink blended blue with water splatter I cut red glasses on the cricut and the cut the same glasses out on a 5''x7''white card stock. I fit the red glasses into the cut of the white card front and placed the blue with sentiment behind with craft foam and then mounted on card.

Hello everyone I was just rushing this morning to get this card done for the stamping smiles designs challenge. that I had in my head for a couple of days. I picked arrows, natural twine, and tag.
I am not thrilled with this card but it went together easily enough. I Cricut cut the tag, heart and 'we love' . Thanks for stopping!

PTI: Make It Monday #254

Hello again! I am here with the card I made for Papertrey Ink's current challenge, stenciling with texture paste. Ashley shows us a neat way to color texture paste while it is still wet in the stencil. I had a little difficultly doing it that way with the stencil I used, it is a sticky back reusable stencil great for ink blending, but not so good for texture paste. My 'paste', talc powder and Elmer's glue' stuck to the stencil, maybe if I had an acetate stencil it would have worked better. I didn't want to got to the craft store to buy either a new stencil or paste so this is what I came up with. I used a wreath stencil that came with a set of recollections Christmas stamps and put in a thin layer of paste. I let it dry slightly and then carefully removed the stencil. Most of the leaves came off but some remained. I just hide the boo boo's with the blue water color paint I put on top.  I ink blended in a matching blue and cut a notch out after. The sentiment is PTI's birthday basics in silver emboss on a navy card stock. Thanks for stopping by!

Waffle Flower June Challenge

Hello everyone! Today I am here with a card I made for the Waffleflower June Challenge. The challenge is a photo inspiration color challenge. I loved this challenge! It forced me to use color combinations outside of my comfort zone but I love how it turned out. I use Waffleflower's Gemstone stamp set, momento inks, and gold heat embosses. Looks like I didn't get my post up in time :( I will leave up my post but I didn't enter the challenge.                                                                                                                                      wfc-201606-photo

Make it Monday Challenge #253 Reverse stenciling

Hello! Today I finished my PTI make it Monday Challenge #253. Betsy showed us a technique of inking up a stencil and then applying it to paper to get the reverse image. I only have 3 stencils that are reusable cling stencils, they came with some stamp sets I got at Michael's, Recollections I think. I picked this leafy one and thought green on craft would nice to try. I made the card an odd size to fit the stencil 4.25" by 6.25". The sentiment is PTI's think big favorites #9 in green heat emboss. The flowers are PTI's embroidered blooms. I had fun experimenting on this card. Thanks for stopping by!
