Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge #19
Hi! I am here with a card I made for the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge number 19. I chose background wash, no line coloring, and packaging goods as my three elements, the bottom row. I can count on one hand the number of times I have water colored and this is my first attempt at no line coloring. I need some more practice. I love how this challenge makes you get out of your comfort zone and try new things. I used some twine that used to secure a toy to a box as my packaging goods. My card measures 5" by 7" and the stamp I used for my no line coloring is by Waffleflower. Thanks for stopping by!

MAKE IT MONDAY #263: BACKGROUND BUILDING WITH FRAMES
Hello everyone! I am here with my creation for PTI challenge, background building with frames. Amy made a beautiful Christmas card with small dies as the background. I made this card for my Mom because she loves Mary Engelbreit and this challenge was perfect for the frames that I had from the Mary's Mottos rubber stamp set. I used PTI's stamp for the Happy birthday sentiment heat embossed white on black paper. The cake I stamped in a light yellow for the outline and then I colored it with crayola markers. I then stamped black ink with clean emboss over that to finish it off. Thanks for stopping in!

Waffle Flower Challenge
Hello! I am here with a card I made for the September Challenge at Waffle Flower. The colors in this challenge were just beautiful! Too bad for me I only own a few inks that worked with it, I had to supplement with Crayola markers to get all the colors in there. I hated this card when I first finished it and almost threw it out and then I came back to it a few days later and decided it wasn't so bad. So here it is, thanks for stopping by!

CFC153 -- Gift Tags
Hello everyone! I am here tonight with some tags I made for Cas-ual Friday challenge. I wanted to try the bokah effect on some ink blended tags. This is what I came up with. I used white pigment ink with different sized circle stamps and just layered with different amounts of ink on each. It was a fun experiment, I like how they turned out. Thanks for stopping by!

I used PTI's enclosed: star Mini Stamp set to create a 'flower' with 4 colors. The sentiment is from PTI's embroidered flower set. I finished it with lavender liquid pearls. Thanks for stopping in.

PTI: Make It Monday #254
Hello again! I am here with the card I made for Papertrey Ink's current challenge, stenciling with texture paste. Ashley shows us a neat way to color texture paste while it is still wet in the stencil. I had a little difficultly doing it that way with the stencil I used, it is a sticky back reusable stencil great for ink blending, but not so good for texture paste. My 'paste', talc powder and Elmer's glue' stuck to the stencil, maybe if I had an acetate stencil it would have worked better. I didn't want to got to the craft store to buy either a new stencil or paste so this is what I came up with. I used a wreath stencil that came with a set of recollections Christmas stamps and put in a thin layer of paste. I let it dry slightly and then carefully removed the stencil. Most of the leaves came off but some remained. I just hide the boo boo's with the blue water color paint I put on top. I ink blended in a matching blue and cut a notch out after. The sentiment is PTI's birthday basics in silver emboss on a navy card stock. Thanks for stopping by!

Make it Monday Challenge #253 Reverse stenciling
Hello! Today I finished my PTI make it Monday Challenge #253. Betsy showed us a technique of inking up a stencil and then applying it to paper to get the reverse image. I only have 3 stencils that are reusable cling stencils, they came with some stamp sets I got at Michael's, Recollections I think. I picked this leafy one and thought green on craft would nice to try. I made the card an odd size to fit the stencil 4.25" by 6.25". The sentiment is PTI's think big favorites #9 in green heat emboss. The flowers are PTI's embroidered blooms. I had fun experimenting on this card. Thanks for stopping by!

MFT Camp Create day 4: Delightful Die Cutting
Hello I am here with this card for the MFT Camp Create Challenge. I am trying to win the $150 gift card by entering all 5 days of challenges but they are due today! This card I made with hexagonal dies and a cherry die. I used an embossing folder for the texture. If don't win the gift card at least I will get the badges ;).
MFT Camp create day 3: Wonderful Watercolor
Hello everyone I am here 'at' Camp Create and this is my creation for the wonderful watercolor challenge. I tried something new with watercolor paints with this card. I mix a little watercolor with some bubble solution and blew bubbles on a piece of white card stock. I saw it done with food coloring and bubbles and it made nice bubble rings on paper, but for whatever reason when I did it I just basically got splatter. The bubbles popped as soon as they hit the paper, but they were supposed to stick to the paper for a moment first and make a nice ring. So I worked with what I had and made this card. The elephant is Avery Elle water colored. and the sentiment is white gel pen via Cricut. The edge is black card stock with white heat embossing stripes.
