MAKE IT MONDAY #248: INK BLENDING THROUGH DIE CUT MASKS

Hello everyone! I made this card for PTI's MIM challenge #248. I pretty much used Lizzie's method except I used contact paper for my die cut masks. I die cut 4 hands on contact paper reversing sides to make lefts and rights of both 'style' hands. I ink blended with distressed ink lightest colors to darkest and layering as I went. I made the mistake of not providing enough space on the top of a few of my masks and ended up with little ink blended lines above a few of my hands, so I fussy cut out the whole group of hands after I was finished blending. You can still see some of the lines but it did remove most of the mistakes. I used my Cricut to make 2 grad caps in different sizes so they would look like they were being thrown at different heights. Fyi those caps are called mortarboards...a name fitting for how dumb they look ;). I finished it with a sentiment from PTI perfect pairing stamp set. Thanks for stopping by!
